HAKKINDA  

Bu proje, British Council 'kutudaki kültür' kitine dayanmaktadır. Sınıflar, kültürlerinin hangi yönlerini diğer ülke ile paylaşmak istediklerini yansıtacak ve tüm bunları sunmak için bir kutu oluşturacaktır. Diğer ülkeden kutuyu aldıktan sonra sahip oldukları klişeleri sorgulayacak ve doğrudan diğer kültürü öğreneceklerdir. Daha sonra okullarındaki diğer sınıflara sunacakları veya okulun web sitesinde yayınlayacakları kısa bir sunum yapacaklar. Mümkünse, farklı sınıfların kutuları açtıktan sonra sahip olabilecekleri soruları sorabilmeleri için sohbetler veya visio toplantıları düzenleyeceğiz.  

AMAÇLARI 

Öğrenciler dil becerilerini geliştirecekler, çoğunlukla okuma ve yazma ama aynı zamanda etkileşimli olarak visio toplantıları da yapabiliriz. Bu proje, onları A2 seviyesinden B1 seviyesine geçmelerine yardımcı olmak için motive edecek olan kesin iletişim hedefi ile İngilizce dilini kullanmaya teşvik etmek için motive edici olacaktır. Kaynak bulmak veya belge oluşturmak için bilgisayarları kullanırken BT becerilerini geliştirecekler ve böylece Fransa'da PIX ile değerlendirilecek olan becerilerini geliştirecekler. Gruplar halinde çalışma becerilerini geliştireceklerdir. Neyin paylaşılacağına karar vermek için oy vermenin önemini yaşayacaklar, bu vatandaşlığın kilit bir becerisidir.  Bir ülke hakkında bildiklerini düşündükleri şeylerle yüzleşecekler ve başkaları tarafından nasıl görüldüğünü de öğrenecekler.  

İŞ SÜRECİ  

TwinSpace'i kullanarak çalışacağız. Mart ayı başında projeye başlayacağız. İlk iki hafta boyunca sınıflara proje hakkında bilgi verilecek, paylaşmak istedikleri şeyler hakkında fikirler üretecek ve nelerin paylaşılacağına karar vermek için oylanacak. Daha sonra gruplar halinde farklı konuların kutu çalışmasını hazırlamak için bir buçuk ayları olacak. O bir buçuk ayın bir kısmı da öğrencileri diğer okulun neler paylaşacağını düşünmeye teşvik edecek.  Mayıs ayının başında kutular postane ile diğer ülkeye gönderilecek.  Kutunun açılışı filme alınacak ve öğrencilerin kutu aracılığıyla diğer ülkeler hakkında öğrendiklerini bir sunum oluşturmaları için yaklaşık bir ayları olacak.  

BEKLENEN SONUÇLAR  

Nihai sunumlar Twinspace'de paylaşılacak ve kutuların açılışı filme alınacak. Sunumlar ayrıca okulların web sitelerinde yayınlanacaktır.

About the project  

This project is based on the kit du British Council 'culture in a box'. The classes will reflect on which aspects of their culture they want to share with the other country and will create a box to present all that. They will upon receiving the box from the other country question the clichés they had, and directly learn about the other culture. They will then create a short presentation that they will either present to other classes in their schools or post on the school website. If possible we will organise chats or visio meeting so that the different classes can ask questions they might have after opening the boxes.  

AIMS  

The students will develop their language skills, reading and writing mostly but also interacting we can set up visio meetings. This project will be motivating to encourage them to use the English language with precise communication goal which will be motivating to help them move on from an A2 to a B1 level. They will develop their IT skills when using computers to find ressources or create documents hence developping skill which will be evaluated with PIX in France. They will develop skills to work in groups. They will experience the importance of voting to decide on what will be shared, it is a key skill of citizenship.  They will confront what they think they know of a country and they will also learn about how they are seen by other.  

WORK PROCESS  

We will work throught the use of the TwinSpace.  We will begin the project at the beginning of March. During the first two weeks the classes will be told about the project, come up with ideas of things they want to share and vote to decide on what will be shared.  They will then have a month and a half to prepare the box working of the different topics in groups. Some time of that month and a half will also be spent encourage students to think about what the other school will share.  At the beginning of May the boxes will be sent by post office to the other country.  The opening of the box will be filmed and students will have about a month to create a presentation of what they have learned about they other country through their box.  

EXPECTED RESULTS  

The final presentations will be shared on the Twinspace as well as the filmed opening of the boxes. The presentations will also be posted on the schools websites.
